To Whom It May Concern:

 

The purpose of this letter is to voice our support for Pastor Greg Johnson and the work he and his staff are accomplishing at Standing Together.

 

We affirm the vision, mission and direction of Standing Together.  Furthermore, we believe Standing Together has become a positive catalyst for uniting the Christian community in Utah for greater spiritual impact, and we are proud to stand in support of Greg and his ministry.  Standing Together is an evangelical ministry that seeks to stand together with other like-minded evangelical churches and ministries that affirm biblical, orthodox Christianity.  While Standing Together is actively promoting interaction, relationship, and dialogue with the Mormon culture, we believe it makes clear the distinction between Mormon theology and that of the historic Christian Church.

 

Through Greg's leadership, we have seen many Christians – especially Christian leaders -- establish genuine relationships with other Christians in Utah and become more effective at reaching their LDS friends, neighbors and others outside the Christian faith with the love of Jesus Christ.  We have seen good fruit in our lives and in our ministries, partly due to the efforts of Standing Together Ministries.

 

As Christians dedicated to building the Kingdom of God in Utah, we also realize that “Impact has a price.”  Even so, we have seen a true spirit of humility and accountability in Greg that gives us confidence in his integrity and teachability. 

 

Again, we affirm the good work that Greg Johnson and Standing Together Ministries are accomplishing in Utah and beyond, and are pleased to express our solid support.
